REWILDING UK
TAKING ACTION, NATURALLY

Our aim is to bring the wild back to the UK….
…and into our lives. We are in a biodiversity crisis and the time for ten year consultations, bureaucratic licensing systems and bloated and inefficient NGO’s is over.
THE TIME FOR ACTION IS NOW!!!!!!!
We will carry out the following direct actions:
Reintroduce Keystone Species
Work with communities and landowners to rewild vast areas of the UK
Bring some excitement back to the UK countryside and beyond
Operate inclusively with an opportunity for everyone to get involved

Future Projects
We will deliver innovative and impactful projects that other organisations are not brave enough to do. Of course we want everyone on board, but if you try to please everyone then you will end up pleasing no one. Therefore, we will not be afraid to challenge or push boundaries if required. We are here to get the job done. We are prepared to be judged by our results, and we will regularly update you on progress as it occurs.
Golden Eagle Range Expansion
Project Aim: To restore Golden Eagle populations throughout England.
Golden Eagles were once found throughout England. They are thought of as an upland bird, but that in only because that is where they have found refuge. That is a deeply sad situation and it is even sadder that there are no Golden eagles resident anywhere in England or Wales. This needs to change. Again we look to the scientific literature as our guide. The evidence is clear that throughout Europe, Golden eagles are commonly found in the lowlands, indeed they thrive there because these areas are more productive and have higher prey availability. We are of course keeping locations close to our chest at the moment but more details about this ground breaking project will be shared with you shortly.
Wildcat Range Expansion
Project Aim: To restore wildcat populations to their former range in the UK
Wildcats are the UK’s last remaining felid and exist only in remote parts of Scotland. We plan to restore viable populations back into England. Wildcats can interbreed with domestic cats causing hybrids. This process needs to be avoided at all costs. Careful site selection and prepearation are needed to mitigate this risk. You may have seen some of the quite frakly ridiculous proposals to reintroduce wildcats to Devon and Kent. The stupidity of these projects defies belief. The wildcats will hybridise within one generation due to the huge pet and feral cat numbers associated with the high human populations in these areas. We won’t be proposing anything like this. More details to follow.
